Bocconcino Cafe - Your new go-to spot for authentic Italian sandwiches, pizza, coffee & more.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Bocconcino Café and was thoroughly impressed by the variety of dishes on offer. The menu features classic Italian favorites such as wood-fired pizzas and homemade pasta, all made with imported Italian flour. But it was the sandwiches that truly stood out for me. Also, I still have to try the pizzas - they look delicious! I highly recommend trying the Romano sandwich, which is packed with flavorful prosciutto, arugula, and truffle spread ($16).

But the food wasn't the only highlight of my visit. Bocconcino Café also serves up some of the best cappuccinos I've ever had, made with authentic Italian espresso. And if you're looking to take a taste of Italy home with you, the café has a selection of imported Italian groceries for purchase, including fresh-made burrata and mozzarella, truffles, and short spaghetti, called Bigoli de Bassan.

Speaking of the groceries, I couldn't resist picking up some of the truffles and short spaghetti to make a delicious truffle pasta at home. The combination of the truffles and Parmesan was out of this world! I also appreciated that the café offers a wide variety of Italian food items, including pasta, sauces, oil, and vinegars, that allowed me to recreate a true Italian meal at home.

All in all, Bocconcino Café is a must-visit for anyone looking for delicious, authentic Italian fare in the heart of Kaka'ako. The café's cozy atmosphere, friendly staff, and delicious food and drinks make it the perfect spot for a casual lunch or romantic dinner. And with its selection of imported Italian groceries, you can even take a taste of Italy home with you. Don't miss out on this new Italian gem in Kaka'ako!

To order online, go to their Instagram, or here. Please note, the only thing that is not ideal, is the parking. Kaka’ako can be a tough spot, but it is worth the extra time & they do have a few spots in front, if you are lucky enough to get one.
